Job Description
This is an opportunity to lead the Food and Beverage Division at Mission Pacific & The Seabird Beach Resorts, part of the independent collection by Hyatt. The Area Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for all facets of the division, including planning, budgeting, marketing, and team development. The role requires experience in a luxury environment, preferably with a Forbes Four or Five Star rating, and a proven track record in high volume concepts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and be able to motivate and develop a team of colleagues.

Requirements

  • Prior F&B Director experience in a luxury environment, Resort experience, independent hotel, Resort Lifestyle experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with a third-party restaurant operator is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with a high-profile Chef is a plus.
  • Experience of 6+ years in similar role.
  • Hotel opening experience a plus.
  • Strong F&B marketing experience.
  • Must have exposure in leading F&B team at Forbes Four or Forbes Five Star rated property, preferably a resort destination.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in luxury hotels.
  • Strong Presentation Skills and experience in owner relations.
  • Experience working through complex logistics.
  • Strong change management skills.
  • Experience in building teams.
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
