Role OverviewThe selected candidate will serve as an Area Engineer in the Biosolids and Building Maintenance Contracts Section within the Bureau of Wastewater Treatment (BWT). The role will involve managing multiyear service contracts, submitting reports and recommendations, and performing field inspections.

Responsibilities will include managing multiyear service contracts, submitting reports and recommendations, performing field inspections, preparing Contract Specifications, Cost Estimates, Work Orders and Requisitions, and engaging in Engineering work.

The ideal candidate will have a valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer and six years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plan examining work, with at least two years in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity.
