Role OverviewHDR is seeking a Power Delivery Leader who is passionate about the Power Industry to grow and manage our electric transmission, substation, and distribution teams across the PA/OH/WV/DE area. This position will offer you the opportunity to lead teams and a portfolio of technical power delivery services, including engineering for substations, system protection, distribution, and transmission.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will establish, develop, and maintain strong client relationships utilizing an in-depth understanding of the client’s business objectives. The Power Delivery Leader will also focus on delivering project execution that exceeds client expectations by leveraging internal resources and growing teams in the PA/OH/WV area.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field
- Engineering degree is required
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field is a plus
- PE license is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of Power Delivery or Transmission and Distribution (T&D) design experience
- Must have the technical capability to provide quality control reviews for engineering design packages relative to candidate expertise
- Excellent client management skills, marketing, and business development skills in addition to contacts/relationships with large-scale Power Delivery clients
- Proven experience scoping projects, managing projects, managing client relationships, proposal development, and business development
- Track record of working cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, technical leads, and project staff
- Committed to safety, quality, improvement and HDR values
- Experience with managing multiple client relationships throughout the US is preferred.
- Previous experience managing staff, clients, contracts and hiring staff for an engineering consulting firm is preferred
