Job Description
The Area Superintendent is responsible for managing the day-to-day supervision of field-related construction activities, implementing safety policies, directing craft personnel and subcontractors, and overseeing individual projects to ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Manage employees and have strong leadership skills
  • Have experience in general contracting
  • Have thorough knowledge of OSHA's requirements for construction safety
  • Be able to read and decipher construction documents
  • Be able to identify quality workmanship
  • Be able to produce, maintain, and direct the project schedule
