Role OverviewThe Area Supervisor will supervise assigned schools in areas of personnel, operations, facilities, customer service, food quality, etc. They will monitor all food purchases, labor cost, and supply purchases to keep within the annual budget. They will also maintain daily professional communication with administrators, campus staff, and department leadership.
What You Will Do
The Area Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring compliance of the HACCP program, enforcing best practices, laws, regulations, policies, and emerging technologies related to school food service operations. They will also conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all department, local, state, and federal policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a directly related field
- Two years experience in Food Service operations, with preference for experience in supervision of multi-unit operations
- Experience in school food service management, quality assurance, menu planning, catering, marketing, and promotions
- Experience in project planning and collaborating with a team to implement projects
- Interpersonal skills in communication (verbal and written form)
- Training and presentation skills at all levels
- Computer skills in creating word documents, power point presentations, spreadsheets, etc.
- School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) credentialed desirable
- American Dietetic Association Registered Dietitian, licensed dietitian, or eligible desirable but not required
