Job Description
The Art Teacher is responsible for delivering a comprehensive visual arts program that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression while supporting the mission of Catholic education.

Requirements

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate Jr/Sr high school art lessons for students
  • Introduce and reinforce art concepts, techniques, and art history
  • Foster creativity, imagination, and appreciation for the arts
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging art classroom
  • Display student artwork and support school-wide art projects and events
  • Communicate effectively with school administration and classroom teachers
  • Coordinate and manage the publications classes products that include school newsletter/periodical ‘THE GLEANER’, high school yearbook, and work with school social media postings
  • Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
  • Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development
  • Follow all school policies and Archdiocesan guidelines
  • Model Christian values and uphold the mission of Catholic education
