Role OverviewThe Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility is seeking an Art Teacher for Luther E. Ball High School. The Art Teacher will assess the educational needs of youth, develop lesson plans, and maintain discipline. The Art Teacher will also attend meetings, prepare records, and establish a good rapport with students and staff members.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Art Teacher include assessing educational needs, developing lesson plans, maintaining discipline, and counseling students. The Art Teacher will also attend meetings, prepare records, and order supplies.

The Art Teacher will be a good fit for someone who has a master's degree, a current Teacher Certificate, and experience in arts & crafts education. The Art Teacher will also be required to attend an additional 3 weeks of mandatory training at the Correctional Training Academy in Orient, Ohio.
Requirements
- Current Teacher Certificate appropriate for arts & crafts & grade level to be assigned
- Master's degree
