Role OverviewThe Akron Board of Education announces an opening for a part-time Teacher, Special Projects for ESL, Job Code 453, Time Schedule - as and when needed at the hourly rate of $37.98/hour- not to exceed 24 hours a week, based on EL enrollment. This is a grant funded position.
What You Will Do
Works with the ESL Dept. to design a program which enhances EL education at the middle school level, monitors EL data, supports enrollment, administers EL identification screener, and assigns EL interpreter support.
