ASC Lead RN - Pre/Post PACU

Requirements

• Partners with the Orthopedic Coordinator to determine daily Preop and PACU staff assignments.
• Facilitates efficient operating room turnover by assisting rooms and helping trouble-shoot instrument or supply issues.
• Communicates schedule changes or patient issues throughout the day with all interested parties.
• Drafts employee time schedules for Pre/Post/PACU staff and manage employee downtime activities.
• Collaborates with Quality Nurse to facilitate employee compliance with research studies and protocols.
• Participate in new hire/employee interviews.
• Assists Administrator/DON with employee performance evaluations and provides immediate employee performance feedback as necessary.
• Assists in staffing as needed, and responsible for the same job responsibilities as the ASC RN when in that role.
• After hours clinical on-call responsibilities related to ASC personnel.
