Role OverviewThe ASC RN - SURGICAL is responsible for maintaining active professional relationships with physicians and patients, assessing needs and levels of satisfaction with surgery center services. The role requires effective communication skills, above average organizational skills, and a positive, friendly, and courteous manner.
What You Will Do
The ASC RN - SURGICAL will plan and implement patient care, make sound nursing judgments, and document medical records accurately. The role also involves assisting in the orientation and training of new employees, monitoring stock levels, and reporting outdated supplies and equipment needs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a current State R.N. license, BCLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications. Two years of experience as a circulating operating room nurse is preferred. The candidate should possess IV skills, effective communication skills, and above average organizational skills.
