Role OverviewReeves Construction Company is seeking an experienced individual for the position of Asphalt Distributor / Tack Truck Driver based out of our Columbia, SC location. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
What You Will Do
The ability to operate the tack truck, help the crew with shoveling and other tasks, maintain and clean the truck, and drive in a safe and consistent manner.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have previous experience, a valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker Endorsement) and a good driving record, and will be able to lift 45 pounds and withstand vibration from job site conditions.
Requirements
- Previous experience (preferred)
- Valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker Endorsement) and good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Reeves Construction Company safety regulations
- High school education, GED or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in and around construction equipment
- One or more years of experience in similar field
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds
