Job Description
Asphalt Equipment Operator II (may underfill) operates a wide variety of light-to-medium sized equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and repair of city streets under the direction of a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Assistant, or Senior Equipment Operator.

Requirements

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and construction duties
  • Operate low to medium complexity construction equipment
  • Transport signs and barricade equipment
  • Notify area residents and/or businesses of upcoming construction schedule
  • Perform snow removal duties
  • Evaluates and documents the operating condition of and performs routine maintenance on assigned equipment
