Role OverviewJoin our operations team as an Asphalt Laborer, supporting paving, sealcoating, striping, and concrete teams. Perform physical labor on parking lots, including saw cutting, asphalt removal, and base compaction. Assist with catch basin repairs, bollard installations, and other maintenance projects.
What You Will Do
Perform physical labor on commercial patching and paving projects, assist in offloading and placement of asphalt material, clear roads and pathways of debris, and operate hand tools and equipment to support the paving process.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred or must be obtained within six months of hire)
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in outdoor conditions
- Detail-oriented with experience using production tools and equipment
- Solid understanding of the paving process
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication across all levels
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks (lifting to 60 lbs., bending, digging, climbing)
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy/small engine equipment
- Ability to tolerate exposure to environmental factors
- Basic understanding of Rose Paving's services
- Strong math skills for calculations (measurements, weights, area, volume)
