Role OverviewThis skilled position is responsible for safely and efficiently diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing plant equipment within an asphalt production facility. The role includes operating various types of heavy equipment such as off‐road haul trucks, loaders, and stock trucks. Additional training will be provided across multiple areas of the operation, and other duties may be assigned as needed.
What You Will Do
Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA and MSHA requirements, Monitor operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any issues, Perform mid‐level cutting, welding, and fabrication work, Maintain and repair plant equipment, including conveyors, motors, bearings, and guarding, Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine servicing and minor maintenance.
