Role OverviewReeves Construction Company is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver Screed Operator based out of our Augusta, GA location. The successful candidate will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. The Asphalt Paver Screed Operator's primary function is to adjust the screed height on the paving machine to ensure proper depth, grade, and finish.
What You Will Do
Adjust the screed height on the paving machine, ensure the consistency of the asphalt mat, and maintain the overall ride quality of the finished pavement.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
