Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman/Foreperson to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar material to form surfaces of highways, streets, parking lots, aircraft landing strips, and driveways.
What You Will Do
Ensure Health & Safety standards are met, ensure the safety of crew members and the public, ensure high standards in quality of completed work, train new crew members, calculate the number of trucks required to haul asphalt, tour job sites to ascertain progress, and supervise and coordinate crew activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
3 to 5 years of related asphalt and paving experience or an equivalent combination of education and training, experience in private/commercial paving required, and training and experience in M.O.T.

- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to type and use keyboards accurately

- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction and communicate effectively
