Asphalt Plant General Laborer

We are looking for an Asphalt plant General Laborer to perform physically demanding work to support plant operations and paving crews. Duties include cleaning and maintaining plant equipment, shoveling raw materials, pulling material samples, and ensuring safety compliance. Laborers often work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.

What You Will Do

Assist with greasing, cleaning, and adjusting heavy machinery, load, unload, and spread raw materials like asphalt, gravel, and sand, clear away debris, clean up spills, and maintain a tidy, safe plant environment, pull oil and cold feed samples for testing, adhere strictly to OSHA and MSHA regulations, including the use of required PPE.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a 'Negative' result
• Must be able to complete a post-offer physical with a 'Capable' result
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
• Experience preferred
