Role OverviewPerforms a wide variety of complex operations required to build, repair, rework, and align mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Works from assembly method books, sketches, blueprints, and verbal and written instructions.
What You Will Do
Build, repair, rework, and align complex assemblies, such as multiple gear trains, chassis, and unit alignments that require constant monitoring and maintenance of critical tolerances. Use gauges, micrometers, test equipment, and other measuring tools to check, adjust, calibrate, and align the angles and fit of assemblies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a high school education or equivalent, and a minimum of 6-12 months of related experience. Must be able to perform all subordinate tasks required to accomplish the above duties and perform other related duties as required.
