Job Description
As a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly, you will be responsible for various tasks pivotal to building a plane or jet. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Assembler Technician duties
  • Manages Technician schedule and takt time pace
  • Inspects, builds and installs aircraft components
  • Follows engineering drawing and specifications
  • Ensures part fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements
  • Responsible for cleaning, set up and use of bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures
  • Routes wires, cables and tubing
  • Installs rivets, screws and bolts, using appropriate tools
  • Torques hardware and fitting using various tools and test equipment
  • Follows and properly documents aircraft build instructions
  • Wears personal protective equipment as required including respirator
  • Mixes and applies adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructions
  • Maintains a clear and organized workstation to department standards
