Role Overview

The Assembly Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards. The technician will work on first shift production, ensuring project quality and meeting project schedules.

What You Will Do

Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings, layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures, use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts for devices, and install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year or more of experience in metal working tools
  • US work authorization without sponsorship
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more
  • Ability to stoop and bend
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time
  • Excellent manual dexterity
