Role Overview

The Assembly Technician 2 will assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and prints, meeting quality and productivity goals within a manufacturing work environment. The role involves working closely with fellow team members, the area Lead, and the supervisor to achieve team performance goals in areas such as Efficiency, DPU, Hours Reporting Accuracy, Scrap, Inventory Accuracy, and Time Lost Accuracy.

What You Will Do

Assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and prints, operate and set up production equipment/fixtures, become proficient at multiple assembly tasks, perform preparation work, perform inspection of own and other's work, mentor others, and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Ability to add and subtract multi-digit numbers, multiply and divide, find averages, percentages and ranges
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
