Job Description
The Assessment and Authorization Specialist supports Sponsor's organizations by leading Certification & Accreditation / Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities across desktop, voice, and audio/video IT environments.

Requirements

  • Run and manage the full A&A/RMF process, including greenlighting systems
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs)
  • Conduct security scans, mitigate findings, and manage vulnerabilities
  • Perform security updates, patching (Windows/Linux), and configuration management
  • Support system configuration and deployment (e.g., laptops)
  • Guide systems through security approval processes
  • Advise stakeholders on improving security processes and architectures
  • Coordinate with Sponsor staff and technical management on operational effectiveness
