Role Overview

The Asset Management Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial health and regulatory compliance of a diverse portfolio of affordable housing communities. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Asset Management, the Analyst is responsible for the ongoing financial monitoring, operational analysis, and investor reporting for properties financed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, tax-exempt bonds, HUD programs, and other federal and state affordable housing resources.

What You Will Do

Collect, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, and occupancy data for an assigned portfolio of LIHTC and affordable housing properties. Prepare and maintain portfolio-level Watch List reports by applying established financial and operational criteria; monitor Watch List properties for improvement or further deterioration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Real Estate, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, real estate asset management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with property management or asset management software platforms (e.g., MRI, RealPage) is preferred
