Asset Protection Manager

The Asset Protection Manager will be responsible for all aspects of asset protection impact in the regions, partners, and business units. The role will involve designing and executing ORC initiatives to protect people and assets, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, and educating store teams on ways to minimize safety or security-related incidents.

What You Will Do

The Asset Protection Manager will serve as the primary corporate contact building positive relationships with law enforcement agencies and prosecuting attorney's offices in directing investigations and presenting cases for prosecution. The role will also involve establishing guidance on company-approved surveillance tactics, researching and implementing emerging technologies, and providing testimony in criminal proceedings on behalf of the company.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in organized retail crime investigations, a strong ability to tell their story, and a demonstrated ability in addressing retail theft at a strategic level. The candidate will also have a basic working knowledge of physical security and protection strategy.

Requirements

• At least five years' experience in organized retail crime investigations
• Bachelors' degree preferred
• Communication Skills – strong ability to tell your story (written and verbally) to powerfully teach others the skills to support our ORC strategy and AP vision
• Certified or demonstrated ability in addressing retail theft at strategic level, conducting complex external investigations with history of success
• Analytical Skills – ability to identify, document, and create data/powerful metrics involving all external theft patterns and trends amongst the assigned area
• Innovative Thinker – ability to propose new tactics to mitigate theft and get the buy-in from the appropriate business partners
