Role OverviewThe Asset Recovery Specialist will preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral. The position requires excellent communications skills, the ability to negotiate with a high degree of tact and ability to build trust.
What You Will Do
Make outbound collection calls, correspond with members via letters and emails, motivate/influence members to bring their loans current, and provide timely follow-up on promise to pay and payment commitment accounts.

Requirements
- One to three years of collections or similar experience
- Minimum of a high school education or GED
- Strong organizational abilities
