Role OverviewThe Assistant Administrator will serve as a member of the office leadership team, overseeing assessment development for all subjects and grade levels. The role involves planning, monitoring, and ensuring adherence to test specifications and blueprints. The Assistant Administrator will also develop and implement test scoring and item development, and facilitate committee meetings.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Assistant Administrator include participating in the development of new assessments, supporting the Alternate Assessment for Students with Cognitive Disabilities review and revision, managing item banks, and ensuring adherence to style guide specifications. The role also involves working with curriculum and instruction staff to connect assessment results to instructional improvement.

Requirements
- Completion of a master's degree in education, public policy, business, or related field
- 5 years of experience in statewide education policy and operations work
- Experience in large-scale, statewide assessment at the state level preferred
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in education, public policy, business, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in statewide education policy and operations work
