Role OverviewThe new faculty member will be a physician-scientist in the field of pediatric cancer developmental therapeutics, supported by the Texas Regional Excellence in Cancer (TREC) Developmental Therapeutics Center at TTUHSC. They will carry out translational and clinical research in cancer drug development and be funded by grants from CPRIT, the National Cancer Institute, and foundations.
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities will include sustained funded-translational research in childhood cancer, with a focus on small molecule development, immunotherapy, and biomarker development. Clinical service time will be strictly limited, providing ample time for research.
