Role Overview

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional full-time vascular surgeon to serve in our Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at the rank of Associate Professor commensurate with experience. The division has a robust clinical program that includes twelve full-time faculty surgeons working across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor-affiliated institutions.

What You Will Do

Develop and participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs. Provide call coverage for CHI St. Luke's Hospital, TCH, and other affiliated hospitals as needed. Actively participate in college, department, hospital and clinical professional meetings.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidates will have completed a fellowship or residency in Vascular Surgery and have at least 5 years of experience in practice. The candidate must be American Board of Vascular Surgery board certified and qualify for medical licensure in Texas.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility
  • Completion of a certified vascular surgery residency program
  • Completion of a certified vascular surgery fellowship program
