Role OverviewThe Missouri Attorney General's Office is seeking attorneys with excellent credentials for an Assistant Attorney General position in the Criminal Appeals Section in Jefferson City. The Criminal Appeals section represents the State in all felony appeals and handles a small number of interlocutory appeals and appeals from sexually violent predator adjudications.
What You Will Do
Attorneys will frequently appear in Missouri's appellate courts, handling a substantial workload of over 700 appeals each year. They will approach each case with an eye toward ensuring both that justice has been done and that the rights of the accused have been adequately protected.
