Job Description
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an Assistant Attorney General for an opening in the Court of Claims Section. The successful candidate will take on a dynamic caseload defending civil lawsuits in the Ohio Court of Claims, including personal injury, wrongful death, employment law, medical malpractice and general negligence. This is a hybrid in-person/remote position based in Columbus.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
  • 3+ years litigation experience (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in medical malpractice or employment law (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to litigate civil cases, including written discovery, depositions, pleading and motion practice, trial and appellate practice
