Role OverviewThe Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an Assistant Attorney General to represent the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and the Industrial Commission of Ohio in common pleas and/or the appellate courts and the Ohio Supreme Court. The ideal candidate will have two years or more of experience and be able to manage a high-volume caseload.
What You Will Do
Typical duties include case management, settlement evaluations and negotiations, motion practice, discovery, trial and appellate court appearances, and occasionally administrative hearings.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and be able to work in a hybrid in-person/remote schedule.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio
- Two years or more of experience working as an Attorney
