Role OverviewThe Assistant Bakery Manager will supervise and ensure that Lowes Foods guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operations are maintained in the bakery department. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and be able to work well with others.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include ensuring guests receive polite, friendly service, achieving budgeted sales and profits, maintaining inventory and supplies, and performing product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary.

- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally

- Knowledge of bakery operations
- Ability to supervise people including training and development
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively communicate with the Store Manager and Merchandiser
- Ability to work well with computers
