Job Description
The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager (Event Set Up) to lead the physical execution of event floor plans and transform empty spaces into functional, beautiful environments for weddings, corporate galas, and conferences.
Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 lbs.)
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous experience in banquets preferred (full-service hotel)
Previous experience with Micros and Evention preferred
Previous Payroll and/or Dimensions experience preferred
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of banquet operations, food and beverage service, and event management
