Role Overview

The Assistant Beef Shoppe Manager will supervise and ensure that Lowes Foods guest service, merchandising programs, and departmental operations are maintained in the beef shoppe/seafood department to achieve maximum sales. They will assume the duties of the Department Manager in their absence. The role requires good interpersonal skills, effective selling skills, and an outgoing personality. The Assistant Beef Shoppe Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the desired level of inventory and supplies, operating the department according to merchandising and operational programs and guidelines, and maintaining high quality and freshness with products available for sale.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Assistant Beef Shoppe Manager include ensuring all guests receive polite, friendly greetings and interactions from the Beef Shoppe staff, achieving budgeted sales, supply/wrap, shrink, and gross profits for the Beef Shoppe and seafood departments, preparing products for sale, maintaining the desired level of inventory and supplies, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat/seafood and in the prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
