Role OverviewSupports Development category goals & strategies and product assortments through the lens of our core customer, ensuring a strong mix of national brand product relevance, best-in-class local product relevance, and best-in-class private label product relevance.
What You Will Do
Develops strategies that drive profitable sales through data-rich, customer centric assortment selection, product development, pricing, presentation, and promotion. Collaborates with Merchandising Planning, Merchandise Operations, Procurement, Distribution, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Regional Leadership, and Suppliers to deliver on category goals and strategies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a detail-oriented individual with strong planning and execution skills, ability to work independently and in a group, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with retail software solutions, category management, and EB Product Lifecycle concepts is a plus.
Requirements
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic tools
- Bachelor's degree
