Job Description
We are looking for our next great team member to assist with leading our Engineering team as the Assistant Chief Engineer at La Posada de Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa. As the Assistant Chief Engineer, you will support the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of the hotel property.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering, or a maintenance technician role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
  • Previous hospitality or hotel maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, commercial kitchen equipment, laundry machinery, and AV/security systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to assist in supervising engineering operations and supporting departmental goals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotations as needed
