Job Description
Brooklyn Academy of Music is seeking an Assistant Cinema Manager to operate a busy and dynamic four-screen cinema in downtown Brooklyn, handling box office and concession sales, customer service, and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Supervising Floor Staff
  • Managing cash and credit card sales
  • Learning point-of-sale system
  • Counting and logging cash sales
  • Issuing sales reports to film distributors
  • Coordinating with other departments
  • Training and managing Floor Staff
  • Assisting customers with ADA needs
  • Monitoring food handling and health and safety issues
  • Daily inspections for Fire Safety and other issues
  • Assisting in customer incidents
  • Building film schedules and managing concession operations
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with customers
