Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer - Inspector to support the Department’s accelerated housing and infrastructure initiatives. The selected candidate will perform engineering work of moderate difficulty and responsibility in support of water and sewer permitting, construction compliance, and public infrastructure protection.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a Master's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering
