Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in the management and operations of a residential property, driving revenue, maximizing profits, and ensuring quality.

Requirements

  • Assist in the management of the property in accordance with CSM policy and procedures
  • Collect rent and initiate Unlawful Detainer process when necessary
  • Inspect units during check-in and check-out
  • Implement changes to operations based on property needs
  • Participate in community activities and other projects as assigned
  • Manage department expenses and deposits to maximize profitability
  • Follow CSM procurement guidelines and apply good business judgment
  • Provide support for administrative and accounting tasks as needed
  • Manage and maintain company assets to stay within budget guidelines
  • Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals
  • Ensure that prospective residents are reached through advertising and further market the property
  • Prepare and administer all leasing activities (i.e. – paperwork, applications, leases, etc.) and rental traffic reports
  • Maintain physical asset to provide a welcoming and pleasant environment for residents
  • Assist in the training of employees as directed and ensures training records are maintained
  • Conduct routine inspections of operations to maintain standards per CSM, local, state and federal regulations
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, and follow all CSM procedures for resident/employee incidents
  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring, coaching, and development of assigned employees as directed by the Community Manager
  • Work with Community Manager to motivate staff by setting goals, providing performance feedback as necessary, and rewarding/recognizing employees
