Role OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager works with internal and external project teams to facilitate project documentation and delivery requirements, ensuring effective day-to-day administration and coordination of projects. Key contributions include producing/distributing meeting agendas and minutes, RFI management, submittal management, drawing management, and project close-out management.
What You Will Do
Participate in construction project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Assist in coordinating and expediting necessary to ensure proper and timely delivery of shop drawings and submittals. Create, update, and refer to RFI logs, submittal logs, and start-up document checklists.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in the industry, with owner's rep/program mgmt experience preferred. Proficiency in construction project management software, such as Viewpoint, VICO, and BIM, is required. LEED AP and/or CCM certifications are helpful.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in the industry
