Role Overview

The Assistant Corporate Controller oversees corporate-level accounting, general ledger activity, financial reporting, and compliance functions for Spectrum Retirement Communities and its affiliates. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role serves as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manages the audit process from planning through completion.

What You Will Do

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the corporate accounting team, prepare and review corporate-level journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analyses, and prepare and review Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this position, you need 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities, and expertise in U.S. GAAP. You should also have experience in Multi-Family Property or Real Estate environment and advanced Excel skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting required
  • CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
