Job Description
The Assistant Controller will provide strategic support to the CFO, lead the accounting team, and improve financial processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Key responsibilities include process improvement, financial reporting, internal controls, and financial planning and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated success improving close processes and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Sage or similar accounting software
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred
  • Experience in construction, construction material aggregates, or industrial sectors a plus
