Role OverviewThe New York City Law Department is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Family Court Division’s Interstate Child Support Unit. Attorneys in the Unit are responsible for the preparation and presentation of petitions to establish paternity and child support as well as appearing on and defending applications for modification of previously established orders.
What You Will Do
Prepare and present petitions, appear in court, file and respond to motions, conduct discovery, prepare memorandums of law, interview clients and witnesses, negotiate settlements, and conduct hearings and trials.

Requirements
- at least two years of litigation experience after graduating from an ABA accredited law school
