Role OverviewThe Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department seeks an Electronic Discovery attorney to assist Division attorneys with electronic discovery production. The Electronic Discovery attorney will advise on all phases of e-discovery, including issuing preservation notices, drafting and negotiating agreements pertaining to electronically stored information (ESI), evaluating confidentiality stipulations, and reviewing correspondence and motions related to the production of ESI.
What You Will Do
Conduct paper and electronic searches for document production, work with other City agencies' IT systems, attend meet-and-confers with adversaries and court conferences, and advise on all phases of e-discovery.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of legal experience following graduation from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of New York
- Experience in electronic discovery management, including an understanding of and exposure to litigation involving the exchange of paper and electronic discovery
- Strong technical skills with litigation support and document review platforms
Benefits
- Salary range: $87,737–$188,235
- Flexible Remote Work: Allows limited, irregular work from home days
