Role OverviewThe Assistant Delivery Manager will assist the Delivery Manager in leading and directing the delivery department's goals, objectives, and activities within assigned territory. The role involves working side by side with the Delivery Manager to manage the department, ensure timely deliveries, proper rotation, merchandising, customer service, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include managing the department, ensuring timely deliveries, proper rotation, merchandising, customer service, safe driving, and vehicle maintenance. The role also involves standing in during any absence of the Delivery Manager, managing assigned team headcount, and performing all work activities in accordance with established safe work practices and company policies.
