Role OverviewProvide general, non-diagnostic mechanical assistance to diesel technicians in Wilmer, TX. Handle routine maintenance on trucks and trailers. Perform non-technical tasks, such as parts stocking, inventory counting and parts pick-ups.
What You Will Do
Assist higher skilled technicians on tractor and trailer repairs. Replace lights, tires, fuel filters, air filters, mud flaps and mud flap brackets. Perform routine cleaning of the shop and equipment. Use a computer to create, track and complete work orders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have an Associate degree in diesel technology or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license and meet Schneider's DMV record standards. Must have computer systems experience. Must be able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
