Role Overview

The Assistant Direct Care Service Manager will provide crucial support to the Direct Care Service Manager by assisting in the management and oversight of the Youth Care Worker (YCW) Department. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth functioning of the program, particularly during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

What You Will Do

Provide direct support to the Lead Supervisor in the management of the YCW department, assist with shift oversight, and serve as an on-site presence to maintain a safe and positive environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in child welfare, youth care, or a related field
  • Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Cleared tuberculosis test results
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations
  • Cleared background checks from appropriate entities, including Child Abuse and Neglect and FBI criminal background
  • Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required
