Job Description
The Assistant Director of Advanced Practice Providers will provide direct and indirect management to over 100 APPs and APP leaders across the continuum of care, including inpatient and ambulatory sites. Render subject matter expertise on APP privileging, onboarding, clinical practice, and utilization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program
  • Graduate of a Master's degree or higher from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Licensure as Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • 5 years of oncology clinical experience with demonstrated progressive leadership and administrative responsibilities
