Job Description
UT Southwestern seeks an Assistant Director for Advanced Practice Providers - Oncology. The role provides direct and indirect management to over 100 APPs and APP leaders across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include APP privileging, onboarding, clinical practice, and utilization, as well as quality improvement efforts and strategic endeavors to support the operational needs of the clinical enterprise.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in nursing, or a Master's degree in a related field from an accredited program
  • Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing, or licensure as a Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) licensed by the Texas Physician Assistant Board
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • 5 years of oncology clinical experience with demonstrated progressive leadership and administrative responsibilities
