Role OverviewThe Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking an Assistant Director/Assistant Principal to support its mission of improving the lives of students and the educational community through service, leadership, and advocacy. The successful candidate will have experience in education as a teacher or service provider with progressively responsible leadership roles, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Administration.
What You Will Do
The primary function of the Assistant Director/Assistant Principal will be to work with justice-involved or at-promise youth, and to provide special education services. The successful candidate will have a valid California Credential and a valid California Administrative Services Credential.

Requirements
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Administration (or related field)
- Valid California Credential (Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Education Specialist, or Pupil Personnel Services)
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential
- 5 or more years of experience in education as a teacher or service provider with progressively responsible leadership roles
